UK: Annual PPI – Output rises 2.1% in July
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - In the year to July 2013 UK PPI – Output n.s.a. grew 2.1%, in comparison with a increase of 2% the previous month, National Statistics reported today. This result is in line with forecasts.
On a monthly basis UK PPI – Output edged up slightly 0.2% in July, following a 0.1% increase in June, as expected.
Annual UK PPI – Input n.s.a. grew 5% in July, up from June´s 4% rise and below forecasts of 5.5% growth.
Between June and July UK PPI – Input rose 1.1%, after growing 0.2% between May and June and below projections of a 1.4% increase.
