Kuwait Oil Official: Limited impact on Kuwait oil shipments from recent tensions at Bab al-Mandeb strait

Citing the state news agency, Reuters recently reported that an official for Kuwait Oil said that the impact on oil shipments from recent tensions at Bab al-Mandeb strait would be limited.

Earlier today, Saudi Arabia announced that it was suspending all crude shipments through the Red Sea lane following an attack on two of its tankers and Badr al-Khashti, chairman of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, said that they were studying whether to halt oil exports through Bab al-Mandeb.
