US: CPI rose 1.5% in March

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Department of Labour has informed that US consumer prices rose 1.5% on a yearly basis during March, missing expectations at 1.6%.
On a monthly basis, prices contracted 0.2% vs. 0.0% expected.

Core CPI, which strips food and energy costs, rose 1.9% over the last twelve months and 0.1% MoM. Both prints have missed estimates at +2.0% and +0.2% respectively.
